Golf GT TDI150 px/swap a scoob
2002, 5 door in silver - TDI150. Can be stage 1 mapped to 185bhp if you want.
Good tyres all round, CD changer, VGC inside and out with cloth sports interior. Service history, and a recent bill for circa 2K for new camshafts, injectors and top end build (Camshafts are weak point on these so no worries there now). 4 good mitchelin tyres, rear parking sensors, 98K miles.
Very quick road car, that will return 50mpg, and lovely to drive daily.
Looking for £3500 purchase price or £4000 PX price.
Will consider a PX with a scoob slightly up in value, down in value of straight swap. Needs to be a tidy genuine reliable car. Might consider other fun cars as well.

Thanks for the constructive comments. NOT.!.Of which you clearly have no intention of buying or have interest in other than to be an ****.! Have a look before your comment.
These really hold there value, and plenty for sale at 3.5-4K and sell at around that... Not that I feel impelled to reply but this is the 150bhp variety ARL golf with front mount intercooler and the one to have, its got sensible miles at 98k, pretty much mint, and had the head rebuilt which is about the only weak point on these.
Its what they costs Fella, for a proper solid sorted genuine car, that will return 50mpg, and yet still pack enough punch to put a smile on your face and keep up with a stock UK scoob, and will happily, reliably and in comfort do 300K miles if serviced.
Now a 10 year old rice tin of scoob, thats starting to fall apart, rust, and running like a bag of S*it that I have often seen and viewed advertised at around 4K is worthy of a lol.
Now go crawl back under your rock.!

Anyone who's had a decent Gttdi golf (and if its Robs it will definately be a decent one )will know just how good they are and why they hold their money.

Nice if not a little lary for my advancing years. But I'm sorted now as I have a very original, mint and totally standard 96 WRX to see me throught the winter. And now fairly open minded about selling the golf. If it don't sell I'll mothball it till the spring then jump back in it, and sell the scoob...
I actually prefer driving the golf as it feels quicker due to the torque and instant grunt in any gear at virtually any rev's, and the golf will see nearly 50mpg v's 20mpg of the scoob.
Thanks for the offer though and Good luck with your sale.
Cheers
