I have had two mr2's not the turbo models tho
yea they are good little cars a little bit old now so if you go to see it have good look around it and underneath
rwd so these cars are a bit tail happy in the wet
turbo models are pretty quick aswell
£2000 with a little bit of haggling seems good as the mr2 does look nice

Chrispy have you owned the rev2 then? In the ad he said its had a rev3 conversion so would it
And it any easier to work on then or are MR2's in general hard to work on? I've a mx5 before so rwd is fine with me, plus the car would mostly be a toy as have the family car already. Any other things about the car people know which they could tell me?

Yeah, had a rev1 and rev2 that were brought over, mid engine and rwd can be very sideways, no difference in working on rev2 and 3, general service stuff is ok but cam belts, head gaskets if they go its easier to take the engine out, found the cooling system a bit of an **** to bleed out as well.
I enjoyed driving them but after the grief with one of them I'd not have another, just personal opinion and I knew a lot of people that loved them. Took a mates rev3 round the ring for a few laps and thoroughly enjoyed it, handling I found very good too, just had to be a bit carefull
