Mate of mine needs a new used car, him and his Missus are over 6ft with 2 kids under 6. Got a budget around £6k and does 25k+ miles a year. I thought something like a diesel Focus/Cmax and the like. He's not too bothered about performance but wants something that can cruise on the A roads/motorway. Anyone got any different suggestions ?

He did talk about people carriers but Ive haven't got much experience of those.....if anyone has one and rates it, let us know which

 

I know people love people carriers but I'd rather go for the red hot poker up the..

Our X trail was perfect.Wipe clean leather seats and boot.Loads of room,ultra reliable and never worried about it.Ugly but in a Tonka Toy kind of way>Loved it!!! Far bigger boot than Freelander which i wouldn't really trust anyway.Sad because love land Rover...just would never risk one

Sold it at 100k and someone got a bargain!

(our kids are just six and now got 3 series diesel which is great too)
