About to drive 150 miles in a mates RX-8 192.
Does anybody know how many miles it will do on a full tank on the motorway realistically?

 

Around 260?
Next question, how much oil will it use

 

by the way when the oil light comes on youve ran out stop immediatley otherwise you will be the proud owner of a rx8 192 in need of a makeover lol

 

I could get further in my old spec c and that had a 50ltr tank and 120+bhp more

RX8 230 will do 280 miles to 60 litres on a run with a steady right foot. My mate get between 200 and 250 out of a tank. The 190 bhp should be slightly better.

 

i used to get 140 to a tank, if i was lucky 200 on motorway driving that was a 231 though

 

If you drive a 192 steadily you can get 300+ miles out of a full tank. But why would you drive it like that?!

 

I used to get about 240 ish to the tank if I were driving like miss daisey on my old 231

however in 6500 miles I had used 8L of oil

Mazda recomend checking the oil every 1000 mles but I used to at least check mine each time I filled her up. Saying that I once did in a tank in 100 miles

If you are driving the 190 just remember not to reverse up any hills or the clutch will only last about 5 mins...lol
