Will Tuscan 18" Spider alloys fit a Griff?

I'm sure I saw a pic a while ago of a Griff with Tuscan 18" Spider alloys.
I wondered how this would affect the handling and whether I can get the bigger rims plus tyres under the arches.
Has anyone had experience of trying this/know anyone whos tried it?
(Btw, currently running standard 15" front, 16" rear)
