Replacement keys and locks 3 door Golf how much?
Short version of the story;
Son had his Mk 4 golf GTI 3 door nicked but now tells me that he lost his 2nd key several months ago no idea how or when thought that he had misplaced somewhere at home.
Car recovered minus sat nav but undamaged 5 miles away.
Anyone any idea how much to replace locks and key fobs ie not involve insurance.

I've had a 2003 golf and needed to get a 2nd key for it. As with many cars this age and newer you'll have to get the dealer to sort this one out with programming the key. Expect to pay around £200 for the key. Given my experience with the price of a single key, it may be worth looking at insurance to replace all the locks and keys - especially if the satnav unit is missing.
