Honda Accord
I am planning to get one of these early next year, hopefully one about 3 years old.
I only do about 6K miles a year it doesn't make sense to go with the deisel, so it is down to the 2.0 or 2.4 petrol.
Has anyone driven both of these? Is the extra 35bhp worth the extra running costs.
Anything else I need to look for?
Thanks in advance

I test drove the diesel Exec version and found it refined but dull and with prices £3k more at the time, I opted for a 40k mile, 2.4 litre typeS with the optional 17" rims and lowered suspension. The ride was totally different and after 50 metres of test drive, my decision was made.
It was a great place to be, with lots of gadgets and the half leather trim appealed. It looked good with the subtle bodykit (IMHO) and typically Honda never let me down. It averaged 32 mpg, but with as with most Vtec engines it had to be worked hard to get enjoyment out of it. I also found myself dropping down one or two gears on motorways to pull out safely from 60 mph. But fortunately this wasn't often the case. Handling was good for a large car and on Pilot Sports it was possibly best in class.
It's miles ahead of the current 407 diesel I have - but sometimes, you don't have a choice.
