Afternoon all,

Well, some constructive clambering into the back of the Pug whilst a hosepipe is played over the closed hatchback shows that the leak into the boot seems to be coming from round the plastic external trim that runs across the outside, between the rear lights, and around the boot lock.

For the life of me I can't see how to remove this so I can reseal it - anyone know?

You will have to remove the Peugeot and 205 badges - the clips that hold the trim on are located under the badges IIRC, but I can't remember if they are under both badges or not.

The trim you talk of sort of slides over the tailgate, but also has some lugs that go into the tailgate as well - the most ridiculous design ever!!

The leak will be coming in via those very same lug holes, or via the boot lock.
