Mot and a play !
So went and got my MOT today cheers Ben !
Dropped in on a pal and let him stretch Scooby's legs, so he could see what a raft of Whiteline bits have done....
Then a play in his re-mapped Ibiza TDI, 200+ bhp 350+lb.ft. of torque, once (eventually !) warmed-up it seems very stiff and sorted, little understeer but silly quick, pulls more like a petrol engine i.e. abit top-end(y)...
if I needed 50 mpg it would be an easy solution.
Then out in "her" Fabia Vrs.... identical car except softer suspension and a side-mount intercooler vs the Ibiza's FMIC (Std), and it's a bit odd.
The soft suspension "hides" the speed I looked down and was doing 50 mph at what seemed to be about 30 mph, the bottom end response is phenomenal, it just goes from tick-over rpm feels silly quick as well.
Finally had a new shape Merc "hair-dresser" coupe follow me,,,, gave it some and half expected to pull a little distance down the slip-road....
Nope up to 79 mph it owned me, I eased and it came past sporting quad exhausts...
Anorak on !
So was this a v6/8 with about 360 bhp ?
Sorry don't buy T*p G**r magazine...
Or is my Scoob a bit out classed by all these modern diesels LOL

LOL !
The Ibiza is the same familly platform, so only got better brakes, suspension (rear ARB fitted by my good self !) and low profile tyres...
TBH I saw this coming in '93 when my sister bought the original pocket (diesel) rocket, the 1.5 TD Nova SX it was the pull of that baby that showed me !
Are the three of you well ?
