Default MX-5 Service 36k

How much should I pay?
Quoted £315 by Mazda Dealer!!!! I am going to buy OE Mazda Parts from MX5parts, MX-5 Parts and Accessories for the Mazda MX-5 and Eunos Roadster to save some cash.It entails Brake Fluid, Oil, Filter, Coolant.

Or anyone know of a good Specialist MX garage in the Cardiff/Newport/Bridgend area?

Not near you but gives you an idea of what an independents specialist charges. These guys come highly recommended by Phil at performance 5.

Sounds a little steep even for a stealer. Our 36K end of last year was £301 but that included MOT.

I had an mx-5 for 3 years and never paid anything like that for a service but I never went to a main dealership.

Surely one of the attractions of an mx-5 is it's simplicity? Unless you are strapping a supercharger on to it, can a good local garage not do all the work easily enough?

If I get one, that's where it'll be going.

I have just got the same service for £200.81 at another Mazda Dealer about 10 miles away. Now booked in with a free courtesy car! Bonus.
