Default 10K ON RWD

Looking to spend upto 10k on something RWD, reliable and rapid. Gotta look as good as it goes, will be my weekend toy. No plastic or fibre crap cars or convertibles, i'm not going through a mid life crises, (is 41 midlife, or still young). So your thoughts please, oh yes it may have to do the occasionall RWYB.

Have been looking at the bread van, but a bit pricey. Lots on PH and a few in the trader. Plus uses the E30 325 rear axle i believe

I've seen a couple of Maserati Quattroporte's for £10k-ish. 3.2 V8 twin turbo, IIRC? They looked nice. I'm not that brave, though!
