Default Grrrr not my day

Ive been waiting in all morning for my new company car which is an Astra SRi with VXR xp pack and have just had a phone call saying that the delivery driver has just been rear ended and smashed the back end of the car up in his view writing it off .
Wonder if this is the first 57 reg to be written off , cant say im bothered about the car as I cant exactly get exited over an Astra SRi but im narked over the fact ive got no transport for a few days untill they get me a new car.

Wife has had a Astra SRI for 15months as a company motor and I bet you that you will be impressed by the handling of the thing (and I bet you bottle out before the car reaches its limit), I give hers plenty stick and it hangs on for dear life, a few people I know have been very suprised/impressed by its ability (OK the performance isn't great but anybody can make a car go fast in a straight line). Sport button does have an effect and stiffens the suspension up a wee bit, for me makes the car feel a bit more secure when pushing on.

I thought the sport button just weighted up the steering and made the throttle response a bit sharper. Adjustable damping is only an option on the VXR.

Well the replacement car arrived today and to be honest I quite like it, its much better than older Astras Ive been in ...much better built.
Steve, the sport does different things depending on the spec of the car, on the basic set up it just does the steering and throttle but you can spec the adjustable damping on other models ....I dont think its even think its standard on the VXR.
