BMW Music
Possibly the wrong discussion area - but here goes anyway...
The new-ish BMW ad, the one with the Z4M in it, all set in the dark, showing of the illuminating dials etc. What the hell is that music in the background? It it obviously classically derived (after a quick search on Google it seems to be possible extracts from Beethoven)
Anyone shed any light? Or even better know where to get the music?
Steven

I found some info on this - it's a reworking of Beethoven's 9th Symphony by UNKLE, and is brilliant... Very arty ad too - great mix of visuals and music.
Check out: Glassworks Archive
Oh, and BTW - lucky man with the order of the Z4MC, fantastic looking car - great engine...

Ah yes, I have seen that one. Think it was during the qualifying for the Canadian GP. Interesting you should say the Z4MC is fantastic-looking. I think the same (not so sure about the front but the Kamm tail, Zagato roof, Bangle slashes on the sides and the Hofmeister kink are great), but when the Z4 first came out I thought it was horrible. I've concluded that they released the Z4 about 3-4 years too early...

And look how well the 7 series is selling now, particularly the diesel models now that consumers have become accustomed to it. It also depends on the colour. Z4s look rubbish in red and the darker blue colours but the design works much better in the lighter ones such as grey.
