Anyone driven a Bentley Arnage?
Yes, it was the 6.75 litre V8 twin turbo "T" version with 450 BHP, a 2002 car with 4 speed (auto) box.
Performance wise very smooth and evo quote 14.3 seconds to 100mph, which is quicker than some Imprezas. In order to get that performance it drinks a lot, mainly because it weighs over 2.5 tonnes.
It was impressive, but it did not feel blisteringly fast because it was such a smooth ride. There was much more body roll in the corners than what I am used to, but in my mind this is a car designed for cruising around town and relaxing on the motorway.
Having said that, the owner described it as a hooligans's car as the rear tyres could be lit up on the corners if you're in the mood. He now has a Rolls Royce Phantom, which I have also driven.

Haven't owned either myself but have had some experience with them. The Arnage didn't quite do it for me, there was no one thing that it really excelled in. Also it is looking a bit dated now. However loved the Continental and if I was after a super saloon would deffo consider one. Just being inside it made you feel really special
