They made tractors before they made cars.

Friend of mine had one when I was a kid, but as far as my mates were concerned it was a Lamborghini...........never told them it was a tractor!

I think this was the same (sort of) in UK - David Brown tractor tycoon bought Aston Martin, giving his initials to the DB4 etc.
