944 Turbo
Volvo S60 T5 + chip = 300 plus bhp
Pretty much any Saab turbo, very tunable, depends on how many bends there are in his area.
Be careful with any turbo'ed car purchase, but especially careful with the Fiat.

I'm stripping my S14a for track use at the moment, can't wait to get out there.
Bought new for 5.9k. Slight prang, insurers wrote off, cost me £50 to repair
Bought back off insurance, they paid me 5k (took out recovery and buyback and excess) which has covered safe/reliable 300bhp and associated brake and suspension mods

mine came up easier than expected...
just the passenger side footwell, which aint a massive area, weighs over 3kg, so stripping it from the whole car will save you a decent amount of weight, as you aint going to be bothered about sound deadening on a track car

How did you go about doing it mate?
Depends what your after. Practical and everyday? of just a raw weekend blaster?
If its the latter and you want it fooking fast, with turbo'd 4wd pocket rocket raw thrills I, of course, would suggest a carefully modified 300+bhp Pulsar Gti-R. Just make sure its a good one thats been looked after and setup up/mapped spot-on with the right mods (brakes, updated handling, fmic etc).
I'm 31, had the R for over 6 years and still love driving it for weekend blasts.
