Im Back but not a Scoob !!!
Had a total of 3 Scoobys and a GT4 (Track Toy), decided to see what was about on Autotrader around the 8k mark and just for the hell of it looked at skylines and come across a 95 R33 GTR VSpec in Midnight Purple at a little more than a wanted to pay but the look of the car won me over and I arranged a test drive after a 30min chat with the current owner.
Arrived at the guys garage in Sheffield and went through the paperwork which brought out some major bill receipts, ie front Brake swap out to R34 items from Middlehurst =£2.6k
Started the car and the HKS Barked into life !!, not quite as nice as a flat four but still sounded Sweet with a good burble , next out for a test run out to Dam Flask , is all I need to say.....
Didnt want to switch the car off when I got back lol
needless to say I quickly secured a deal and A-Plan gave me a good qoute so next week I'll av a GTR VSpec on the Drive
Still gonna come to Scoob meets at the Carbrooke tho
See all you Yorkie lot at the carbrooke in Dec then
Andy

Awesome cars mate, just sold my R33 GTR.
My only advice, don't mod it past stage 1 i.e exhaust, filters, boost control, maybe a power fc - should see you to 400bhp + depending on the turbos. Once you go past this reliablilty becomes a huge issue in my experience.
Hope you've got deep pockets for repairs and servicing
Chris

Already has Stage one Chris bar the ECU so a remap on the cards. Booked in for a checkup at RB Motorsport in two weeks time
Got a very good deal on the car he had a dep on a M5 so was able to knock him down for cash
I dont want any more power as the running costs at stage one are SKY high , excuse the pun lol.He has had the car for 18 months and has kept it at stage one too but the previous owner popped the R33 engine at about 600bhp so she now has a 40k mile R34 lump in her from RB Motorsport with a tag of £5K
Fingers crossed the car holds together for me then ....
Cheers guys for the replies

Sounds good, should have the R34 turbos as well then - stage 1 should be plenty enough to see off most things
