Default Mk1 996 GT3

These cars are becoming more affordable as people are upgrading to 997s. Has anyone owned one? Are they good as a daily driver or a bit uncompromising?

Default these are a potential future classic

964rs's are approacing the value of these....GT3 is a country mile better, just wait for the market to catch up.

Friend of mine has one of these ... you won't get much change out of £40k & he got a good deal !!

Car is awesome ... I went on a trackday with him, mental acceleration that continues well in to 3 figures!

If you can afford it I would say do it ... it's a car that I aspire to own one day.

TX.

Nice Motors, I'd prefer 993, or atleast a MKII though.

Thanks Deep

Yeah i had one. I used it more as a weekend car than a daily driver but i could easily be used for daily driving. The guy i bought it from used it daily & never had any complaints. Mines did have a few extras & fitted the bill totally Awesome car & i only sold it to finance some property. If it wasnt for that then i can honestly say that it is one of the few cars i have owned that i regretted selling. Though onwards & upwards they say ...... got something italian in the pipeline for the start of next year

Actually the new 997 C2s can be had for not *too* much more. Dangerous way to think but tempting

Go for it, you wont regret it

997 C2 is safe but the 996 GT3 should & will eat it alive. It makes you want to jump back in it & even just got to the shop again & again & again

What, a FIAT?

Only jealous
I aspire to a 355 F1 - but until the kids leave home, I'll have to do with my Audi

No an Alpha

Add five digits & two letters & you might be near.

TBH its only if things go to plan with the rest of the year ....

As the local priest says at Sunday Mass ... Let us pray

OK GT3 is completely out of the question... why can't you retrofit rear seats?

Anyhoo they C2s looks quite nice. Testing one next weekend.

Mate, adding 5 'digits' to 355 implies the car has 8 digits in its title ie 355xxxxx. You meant add the 'number' 5 to 355. Anyway I get the point now

They might be better, but the RS is high in value becuase they were made in limited numbers.

The GT3 was a limited run but the Mk2 wasn't and niether will the Mk3.
