I followed this car along with another TransAm (A bit like the one out of Smokey and the Bandit) down the A3 in the afternoon when I was going to Haslemere. It's a bold it of kit and gave him the thumbs up but I have to say with that bonnet on I didn't think it was road legal at all. It even had a parashute out the back didn't it.

There was loads of the f150 trucks around too.

I didn't know where all the Yank cars we're going but all pulled off at the Guildford turn off? Now I know why.

Looked like a fun day out.

If you're interested its held on the first Sunday of every month, in the Halfords/Burger King car park from about 4pm onwards

 

Oh yeah - the most of the "F150" trucks were Dodge Rams

It is a beautiful thing, isn't it? One of my favourite all-time cars, and such a rare beast. Had a ride in a Mk1 at the Birmingham Motor Show a couple of years back which was nice
