Mitsubishi Colt
Anyone on here got one of the new type Mitsubishi Colts (MY04>)? If so how are you finding it?
Looking for a new car for the missus and they seem to get some pretty favourable reviews. Cheaper than a Honda Jazz secondhand too. Looking at an early 05 model either the 1.3 or 1.5 petrol, or maybe the diesel, Equippe, Elegance or Sport model so that it has air-con. Local independent has a few in from £6700 to £7500. Had a look a few evenings back and first impressions were certainly good.
They share a lot of components and chassis with the Smart FourFour apparently.
She wanted a Citroen C3 originally but I informed her they were cheap for a reason, mainly due to shoddy French build quality and reliablilty problems. Much rather have a Jap super mini, should be bomb proof.
Cheers,
Graz

I had one as a loan car once. Probably ideal for what you are looking for - but i found it a bit cheap and steering was alarming to operate. I would have one over anything french though TBH [Ignoring the fact that my car is built in France!].
i helped to find my mate a o5 colt 1.5 sport with allys aircon the full works with 12000 miles for £5000 from a mitsi dealer for some reason they let it go for grand less, nice car totaly better then the 206 rubbish
