Range Rover P38- Servicing details
Im about to get a service done on my new 1996 4.6HSE (114K-clock, engine-74K), im not sure when the last service was so to be sure I'll do a major one. apart from the obviuos service parts, what else should I make sure gets changed.
So far I can only think of, Pollen Filters, diff oil and a diagnostic check apart from the usuall oil/filter etc...
There is only one fault that I know of; SRS Airbag Fault, everything works fine.

Hi mate,
What ever you do, get the coolant / cooling system flushed and new stuff put in. 4.6 engines over heat due to Land Rover over boring the engine to 4.6. 3.9 was the most suited bore, and a good engine, so they should of really stayed at that cc. Many RR required new engines due to this, normally around 60 / 70K miles, hence your situation.
So, at every service, get the rad flushed backwards, new coolant. I suggest you buy some Toyota Forlife, tremendous stuff, great for alloy heads, etc. I use it in all my cars, regardless if they are Toyota or not.
I love RR. Looked at buying one, so did alot of research, looking around various forums, etc.
Nice car.

Yea they are lovely cars cheers for the info
Avi, lol around town i average about 8 MPG, on motorways up to 18 MPG. I estimate about 50 pence a mile as a tenner gives you 20 miles around town.
I do drive it conserveitifly aswell, never go above 2000 revs. I think its ti for LPG for sure.
