Drove a Ferrari F355 today!
Got to drive a Ferrari F355 Berlinetta today, and was the my first ever drive off a supercar, and a life ambition to get behind the wheel of the italian beast, ever since I was 5 years old I have always dreamed of driving a Red Ferrari.
Have to admit It wasnt as fast as I thought it would be, but once you opened her up higher in the rev range and the scream of the exhaust note was amazing and even at 100mph it still wanted to go faster, also the handling was amazing for a RWD car even in the slight snow that we had today and pointing it into the corners the car stuck to the tarmac, was one of the things that did impress me the most.
The interior was'nt what I expected a Ferrari to be like, I dont know if it because the car was 6 years old, and some newer cars such as the Audi's and BMW's have come along way with nicer interiors, but the seats where black leather and I think would have looked better cream leather on a red Ferrari, but one look at the prancing horse on the steering wheel quickly reminds you of what car you are driving.
The only let down was the car was LHD, and changing gears with your Right hand took some getting used to, also found the clutch to be softer then my Scooby, But other then that it was quite easy to drive.
