Question Definition of...

...roadholding wanted.

If grip is the how the tyres can hold the car on the road and handling is how the car behaves at and beyond its limit, what is roadholding, please?

I've always thought of roadholding as the compliance and sophistication of a chassis over varied surfaces - i.e. unusual cambers, bumps, crests and poor surfaces.
