MarkO and Black Cat (Penny) IIRC, but they are rarely seen round these parts... I think Penny sold hers as it kept going wrong.

An XJR would be a lot more fun though. The old straight six ones are cheap these days...

We have a 2.5 one at work. As far as i can remember apart from a broken fuel gauge it's been fine.

I ran another one for a week or so and clocked up 1000 miles without a problem.

My dad has a 2.5 Sport and loves it. Only problem so far is the central locking playing up in this cold weather, sorted with some WD40 apparently

I have a 3.0 sport and it's OK. Not enough headroom, dead steering, heavy feel and shocking fuel consumption. Acceptable performance. Looks good though.

You can pick 2.5 and 3.0 Sport models up for under 10k these days. Considered one myself as I've always wanted a Jag, but I reckon if you had one you'd think you were driving a Mondeo. I think they look good in black though.

My boss has a 3.0, I've done a thousand or so miles in it and .... not very impressed. I'd agree with TopBanana -- feels very heavy.

Didn't like the autobox either, whether you're in Sport or normal mode it was ALWAYS in the wrong gear.
