Default New BMW M3 at the ring

Probably the most believable footage yet of the new M3

Might be a 3 series coupe, but I don't think that looks like an M3.

The last (current) M3 took months for it to grow on me, design-wise. I'm still unsure about the current 3 series look. It'll take something special to make it look sporty enough for the M badge... it's like an Avensis at the moment

Thats ironic, as it was quite the opposite with me - as soon as I saw the current M3 when it was first revealed I had to have one.

Whereas the new shape 3 series is awful - they'll have to pull out a LOT of stops to make the next M3 look like something I'd buy.

agreed, but on close inspection it has the trademark silver side vents found on M cars, its has the customary bonnet bulge for the v8, and it appears to have the inflated rear wheel arch panels.

I sincerely hope this isn't the next M3, but could be.

On the video, the rear end was bouncing through the Karussell. The car looked quite wallowy through some other corners as well. Surely that can't be "M" suspension?

Have to agree with Fuchsrohre. The current M3 when it first appeared I went slack jawed and loved it instantly.
I haven't warmed to the new shape at all to be honest.

Saying that, if the new M3 looked anything like the photoshopped one from thsi thread, I'd change my mind in a flash!
