I'm on the hunt for a skyline and above company seem to have a decent spec R34 for much cheapness here. I'm trying to find out the mileage as this might be why the car is cheap but if memory serves this company is to be avoided with a barge pole for selling dodgy imports. This would appaer to be a uk car supplied by Middlehurst.
Any views/comments much appreciated.
Cheers

I've just looked at their website, it appears they don't know where they are located. It says they're in Crossmills when in fact it's called Cross Hills
Btw, me and Bob.T live just up the road.

Thanks for the replies everyone.
Confirmed what I thought - best stay clear. That said, if they don't know what they're selling could possibly bag a bargain as middlehurst supplied R34's seem to go for £32K plus fairly standard and this one seems to have a middlehurst supplied tuning package.
Will continue the search

I have 2 relatives who have both had Evo's from there and both have had problems. The first had gear selection problems before his engine blew 3 weeks after his warranty ran out resulting in him having to fork out just short of 3 grand. The second one has had problems with binding front and rear brakes on top of his car boosting at 1.9 bar and running like S**T and they dont want to know! My advice is stay well clear.

Alec, I see that and the other two fine examples of it that they have every time I drive past and they always make me laugh
I've seen other people driving past pointing and laughing too. They've been for there for months unsold, I can't think why..

DO NOt do it..they are a bunch of complete cowboys. Most of the cars are salvage repaired cars that they have imported on the cheap. They keep chaning location overnight...I live close by and see this often..cars just gone overnight..then baCK again a few days later...very starnge goings on there, and lots of VERY ropey motors...

Was looking for an STi and they came up time and time again with what looked like bargains... IMHO in the Jap scene a cheap car is just that.... do a search on this forum and indeed other Jap forums perhaps that will help you build up a picture... good luck...

They always seem to have cheap cars but you get what you pay for and they are just that - cheap!
A friend of mine went to look at a TT manual Supra and it was the worst car he's ever seen. I wouldn't touch them with a sh*tty stick.

Another thumbs down for them
Here is my story....
I crashed my impreza and was looking for a standard donor car to swap the bits over. I wanted a cheap one and had a look on autotrader. They had a k reg one for just over £3k. I phoned up about it and the boy seemed quite good on the phone.
My main questions were What the mileage, whats sort of condition is the body work in, is the car mechanically sound, would you take my corsa as a trade in. I was told it had 148k on the clock, but in kph. The body work was in good condition for its age. The car was mechanically sound and they would take the corsa as a trade in.
So I took the day off work and drove the 270 miles to get there. On coming into the estate I seen someone tearing up the road in an impreza sti still with the price on the window, so they must have been test driving it. Subarus need warmed up properly before you thrash them and it takes at least 10 miles or 15 minutes to do so. This was my first observation.
Anyway I spoke to the guy and explained I was on the phone earlier. So I went to have a look at the impreza and it was the biggest bucket of crap I had ever seen. I went back to see him and said, do you know the back door is a different colour than the rest of the car ? He said yeah thats why its reduced, did you not see the dent in the wing ?! He gave me the keys, there were 2 one to unlock the door and one to start it so the car has probably been stolen at some point.
I looked at the mileage first, and it was sitting at 188k not 148k like he said on the phone. I started the car up and the engine was making a ticking noise from cold, which may be the engine on the way out. There was also no petrol in the car either.
I told him I was not very happy I had driven nearly 300 miles for a car which was clearly not what he said it was. He then tried to sell me the car next to it. I said but you just told me earlier that the clutch was needing replaced on that. Oh yeah he said, what about this one then. It had one of those stupid touring car spoilers on the back. Seriously the place looked like a graveyard from abused cars !
I stormed out of the place and had to drive the 300 miles back up the road in a 1.0l corsa, not much fun I can tell you !

Grade Zero ****e.
No idea what they are selling or doing. Get rich quick merchants selling utter and unmitigated rubbish. All the cars have been screwed, crashed, thrashed and bashed.
It's fact and well known in West Yorkshire.

My bro went to see a Skyline with lots of Nismo bits on for 14k. It was actually very good, and sold before we could get cash etc sorted. A week later another well known tuner was selling it for 2k more!
still by the sounds of it they sell mostly sh!te cars.

sorry guys slightly off topic but it was mentioned:
they have changed the titanium rear silencer, no S202 badging on the front grill, diffrent Subaru badging centre of front grill, no S202 front wing stickers, standard STI wheels, different rear spoiler, STI fog lamp covers missing, cant see a front mounted oil cooler, S202's dont come with electric mirrors, S202's are 6 speed not 5 speed and 370+BHP from factory, I think not
NOT AN S202 GUYS WHO ARE THESE GUYS TRYING TO KID!!!!!
