Well I've had 3 Civic Sports over the last year (work for a Honda garage) and have been well pleased with them.

Its no Type R of course, but the performance is pretty damn good from a 1.6, especially after a few thousand miles. I found the seats much more comfortable especially over a long journey than the Type R bucket seats and the level of kit is impressive.

Pretty much everything that will fit a Type R will fit the Sport in terms of alloys and bodykits, so plenty of options for some mods! Would recommend 17 inch wheels as they fill the arches nicely.

Even with my lead feet i get just under 40 mpg and servicing costs are respectable too (at least they are in this part of the country!)

Don't know if you got anything sorted, but we have a couple of used and ex demo Sports to get rid of, or we are doing 3 years free servicing on new ones delivered this month

Sanj.
