Honda Accord 3.0i V6 Coupe 2dr Auto Info needed
I am still looking for a 2.0l Accord se sport exec.
However i have been offered on of these
an X reg (2000) 3.0l v6 Accord coupe, it looks great but thats as much as i know about them. I have had several Hondas over the years and they have proved to be well built, fgun to drive and reliable. I have just written my Civic 1.8 VTI off and need a replacement asap
The miles are 75K but with FHSH in met blue.
It is up for £4,750.00 but negociable. This looks like a steal price wise.
I do not know much about these cars so any info gratefully recieved.
Would specifically like to know about
MPG
BHP/torque
running costs
whats it like on a day to day basis
handling and performance on the road
anything to look out for when purchasing.
sevicing costs
anything else.
Many thanks and merry xmas!
Paul

if it is a manual (unlikely?) check the synchros are alright.
*edit* states auto in title
hondas tend to be well built, 12 months mot would prove that all the steering joints are OK (only thing i had to replace on my preluded vtec in 2 years of ownership - and daily thrashings).

200hp, faster than the VTi in a straight line. Handling isn't up with the Euro Accord, as said this is a US built car. Got all the bells and whistles on, very well built, extremely comfortable. Old legend coupe owners used to trade into these very happily. Economy wise, look at low to mid 20's on average, servicing is typically honda price plus about 50%.

Good point, the car i was looking at was not as advertised, no suprises there. Has covered 75K but instead of a full service history it stops at 48k. i do not want to travel the 50 or so miles just to test drive it but will keep them in mind.
