Had a prang, will it kill the cat?
Had a moderate front / side prang the other day, car (Passat PD130) is in the shop being put right.
The damage is bumper / front plastics, a wing, and the aircon radiator. The impact did not trigger ANY of the car's 6 airbags, probably 'cos the front bumper was mostly ripped off by the other car, and absorbed most of the hit.
Should I get the garage to check the catalyst too? Is it likely to have been damaged by the impact?
