Default Got myself a Noble...!

Well I managed to sell my overly priced Scooby for the money I was hoping for, thought I'd wait until after Christmas before I brought a new toy....next day I paid far to much money for this...........what a car.

Very different than the RA, still think I'll miss the RA but it's gone to a good home. Thank you very much David API I own you a drink.

I didn't buy it from an auction, it was a very keen price an a independant Ferriari dealer in Brooklands. It is the GTO3 model, couldn't quite streach to the GTO3-R.

At the moment the car is more than adequate standard.......wonder how long that'll last......0-100 in 8.7 sec's sound keep a smile on my face for quite a while.

Dom,

Welcome to nobility

Only thing to get used to are the number of mobile phone cameras being pointed at you from cars, pedestrians etc, oh and the smiles from young ladies........

It's one of those cars you have to just once in your life have a go in.

Have they fixed all the electronic/ecu problems they had..?

I spoke with a chap last year at a Silverstone trackday who'd gone from a Ferrari to a Noble.. and laughed when I said the Noble should be more reliable day-to-day

Great choice. A friend's boss bought a Noble recently. I keep hinting for a ride. Hopefully a dry day soon......

Looks like a good no. plate from what I can see in the pics

I caught one of the R ones up on a dual carriageway. He kept trying to bait me into a little play. I just smiled and said "after you" I know when I'm beaten. It looked awesome.

only reason pictures get taken of you is your "crimewatchesque" looking face

the smiles from the ladies are however un-explainable

My nextdoor neighbour has got one and it makes the floor in our house shake when he starts it. Had a go in it as well - was for about a week.

He's swapping it for a 360 Modena now so I'm looking forward to a go in that!

Thanks for all the positive comments...not one 'I'll have it in the twisty's'!! I'll get some better shots when I pick her up next week and let you know what 0-100 in less than 9 sec's feels like!!

I believe all the electrical gremlins had been sorted out, I will be getting it serviced at Noble's factory as they automatically do any upgrades etc, and it'll help when I sell it.

David if I'm passing I'll drop in...you never know!

Cheers
Dom

Can i be really rude and ask what you paid for it? I've just sold my P1 and am looking around for a replacement - have my eye on an M3 or two but also fancy something completely different - like a Noble.......?

Top car mate.
I popped into Mole Valley last week, having a nose around.
Out came the salesguy. I said to him that I wasn't really in the market for a Noble, & was just having a look, but he spend about an hour with me, showing me the cars, the workshops etc. Even the mechanic working on a TVR came over & spend 20 mins walking me around a 3R that was up on the ramp.
Great bunch of real enthusiasts.
I drive a 996 & the contrast is unreal.....I normally get looked at like something someone just stepped in whenever I drop by the Porsche dealer.

The Noble is one of my favourite cars, if I had the money I'd have one, no question.

It's on my wishlist along with a TVR T350C
