Default What oil choice for 1.8?

Hi all
After selling the scooby and buying a string of cars, i have settled on the Proton Satria GTi. Not as powerful as the 'old girl' but its handling is amazing!!
The only thing is, getting advice on it is very hard to come by so after all the help i got off scoobynet i thought id try and get some info on the Satria.
Its a 1.8 16v and im not sure on which oil to get i.e 10-40 15-50 etc....? Theres a group buy on the motul 300v stuff. Is it worth getting?
Also, its and old mitsubishi engine, the 4g93, and just wanted confirmation on the reliability of it really to ensure its strong enough to modify on. Its just turned 4 years old with 26k on the clock.

Many thanks

Johnny

Johnny.

The manufacturers recommendation is for 10w-40 fully synthetic. We have the Motul 300v Chrono 10w-40 available (check group buys).

Cheers
