Honda Accord
My old man is interested in an R reg Accord 2.0 as a work runaround (double glazing salesman).
He does lots of miles 30K/year, he has just run his MY94 Civic into the ground with 196K miles.
He has seen a mint Accord 93K miles air con and criuse control FSH, it seems a high spec car, the price is only 2050GBP and the guy is willing haggle.
So does anybody have any info or opinions in this car?
Thanks
Scott

I had one for about 3 years from 72k to 124k,it never broke down allways started first time and stayed rattle free and comfortable (didnt go baggy and loose bits of trim like some make after a couple of years).
The only little concerns were the hand brake could be a bit poor, the front tyres would scrub thier inner edges and the fuel consumption was never better than low 30's.
I let my father in law have it 2 years back and it still runs fine (170k),but the rear arches are just starting to bubble, and the n/s electric window has failed.
The only problems i see on the road (RAC patrol) are failed ignition modules (£60) and moth eaten leaking rads.
There's a lot worse out there and probably not much better if you want reliability and comfort for the price.
