Default Nissan S15

This looks like an interesting beast, anyone actually been in one? Beautiful looking too. I remember looking into them at the same time at the S14a 200SX, but didnt find much out.

Sort of a new 406 coupe back end, and overall looks like a nicer looking Soarer type thing...

Had a quick look on the trader and they seem to be very rare, 250bhp, usually auto, and about £10k.

Off to SXOC for a browse...

S15 was the replacment of the S14a, it was never officially sold by Nissan in this country, so all the S15's will be classed as grey imports.
yes they are a great car and should of been sold here IMHO (ex s14a owner), but the 200Sx was never a great seller in the UK, so probably why never made it to the UK.
Was / is sold a lot in the States and Australia where they seem to be quite popular.

Yeah, noticed you have to look them up as "Sylvia"...

Massive potential for tuning by the looks of it, too.

I just dont like the look of the S14a, even though I try to.

I remeber looking at these when they first came out, they did various models but the gt-r version interested me used the skyline sr26det with single small turbo AFAIK and a 6 speed manual. at the time to import one was about £22k seriously tempted by it.

woulkd be a crazy car, never seen one for sale in the uk though.

Used to see a s15 in bright yellow on my old commute run looked fantastic.

All S15's are SR20DET engines with a BB T28 attached to a 6-speed manual.

Nissan dealers seem to be very good on servicing imports.... Im sure they service Skylines. The S15 might be different, due to it being a bit more rare...
