Ive been looking for a year now for a good car. If your not really comminted to buying one (in the sense that like me, you've always wanted to own one) then save yourself a shed load of hassle and get a later E36 car. These start at around £7K which is where the less ropey E30s start. www.MunichLegends.co.uk (well known M Specialist) reckon for a good car expect to spend 10-12!
Oh and dont bother, cos it reduces the cars out there for me to look at.

Theres also Independant Motor Co just on the outskirts of Reading. I came very close to buying an Evo2 of them, but at the last minute I opted for a 525se instead.
They came across as proper guys and were'nt pushy, just informative. If they've got what you want in stock you can have a deal with them

had an lhd e36 for a while & this mint h plate e30, regret selling it, poss change in circumstances would mean it would be much better to have a de-valuation proof motor in the garage instead of a scooby,
the raw acceleration of the e36 was great, handled like poo though, at first was really dissapointed with the e30 until i worked it all out
chasis & sharp steering mmmmm

There's a black E30 M3 for sale in Southwell, Nottinghamshire, at a classic car dealership (http://www.sherwoodrestorations.co.uk). I dont know if the car is on the website or not, and dont know anything about the car other than that it is up at £9995! Looks nice when i've driven past, anyway..
Cheers, Greg.

Found it on the site (http://www.sherwoodrestorations.co.u...288&p_i=219288), for some reason it says it's RHD though, even though I am 90% sure it's not been converted.
Cheers, Greg.
