Hi Gang
I take it that for this you require the Audi TT ECU and extra intercooler?

Cheers

Take it down to one of the following

Revo , APR , AmD , Jabba ... they should be able to help you achieve a figure close to that i think with a Remap of the ECU.

Hi Brett
Just a re-map?
I can't see that sort of BHP upseting the Motor/Gearbox as that's Audi TT bhp. I wonder if the clutch can take it or if they use the same clutch in both motors?

Thanks
Mike

Nip over to www.briskoda.net and you shall learn all..

But basically the vRS is good for around 220+bhp on a remap alone from jabbasport or similar but can be taken far further with other mods. Theres several members who had theyre cars done a while ago and have done plenty of miles in them since - including trackdays etc.

Mega

Just go over to www.briskoda.net - you'll be suprised by the information is there and and the quality of advice.

You need do nothing more than a Jabba remap to move to 225bhp+
I was incredibly sceptical when I moved from my Impreza to Skoda, and especially on the tuning side. My advice is don't be.

My 4x4 Octavia (ECY detuned vRS / same engine) has 220bhp and lots of torque.

Just got a Fabia VRS and I am absolutely delighted. All the following are first class - performance (3rd and 4th gear torque is an eye-opener!), economy, build quality and spec.

Once 2-3000 miles are on the clock, then it's Jabba or AMD time! I would echo some of the comments above and look at Briskoda - an excellent site and an excellent bulletin board.

Thanks guys
Must admit i almost tested an Skoda RS before i brought the CTR. Non about at the time, thus i went CTR. Since the car jacking i only driven about in a few car's via the family.

Next car will have anti-jacking kit and a GPS system, can't move from my unit in Kirby (Where it happened) for some time. I don't miss the CTR that much, it was fun but i felt Honda had more work to do on the devolpment front.

The Rear end though better than my 306 GTI-6 would never quite settle down on my fav B roads. Steering had very little feel and motor needed to be stroked along to get useable power. Grip good in the dry but out to lunch in the wet, ride not too clever either.

Driving polsition a bit high, radio system the worse i have ever had in a car........and that inclunds Lada's !

Father run's a Skoda 1.6 estate and i was shocked at how good the build is. Radio great and driving polsition spot on. I tried to test an RS yesterday but the sales team "Forgot" to bring it in!

They than tried to force me to buy a speced one in silver (I want black or yellow) and refused to move of list.

I would love to go on Brisk skoda, but every attemp i made to reg has failed. I e -mailed them but i can't get on ......shame theres much i need to ask!

Cheers
Mike

Mega, 230 is easy with a a remap.

You sure you're not on Briskoda? If not then there's a bloke called Mike who also got carjacked in a Civic Type R

Just to add another vote for a Jabbasport custom remap, my 4x4 (same engine as RS) went from 150 to 228 bhp with just a remap, oh & loads of torque

www.jabbasport.com

Also nice to see Scoobynet has finally modernised its site, Briskoda have been running this format for a while, come on Scoobs "keep up"
