The Detroit Motor Show saw the unveiling of the ME Four-Twelve supercar. It has an acclaimed sprint from 0-60mph in just 2.9 seconds
and goes onto a top speed of 248mph
If those speeds are accurate in anyway, that would make the ME Four-Twelve the fastest production car in the world, beating the McLaren!
The firm......Chrysler!!! Would you drive a Chrysler over the McLaren?
It certainly looks the biz though!

That design is simply stunning, theres even 2 places to grate your cheese on the back
(bet that observation is stolen for a car program on the telly...!)
edit -> what would scooby do, its an orgy between wurlitzer, max power, and an imac

Nice looking (the outside anyway) but not a patch on the McLaren with its centre seat config and lovely BMW V12. Good try though.

I reckon it looks like a "new" version of the McLaren. Same lines.
It's turbo-charged isn't it? It'll be interesting to see if it is as easy to drive as the Macca is supposed to be, as that is normally aspirated.
I wouldn't say no to either though!

Get rid of the naff Chrysler badges and interior (Wurlitzer - LOL
)
and then perhaps we'd have a McLaren successor

Was just thinking the same.
Is it an auto or a paddle shift sequential manual?
With the D,N,R buttons it certainly looks like an Auto.

Why oh why have they put that massive badge on the front, looks awesome, apart from that badge, and the blackpool Illuminations (namely the back lights)

I cant remember exactly the number, but once you hit 186MPH or something like that the automatic spoiler goes up... Like you are going to hit 186MPH how often???
I had a flick through Auto Express this morning I think it said £500,000 approx. I wonder what the insurance would be like??

Just found out it's not an auto but a 7 speed dual clutch manual similar to the VAG DSG gearbox.

I wouldn't be so sure...Chrysler have a track record of manufacturing their concept cars with very few changes, e.g. Dodge Viper, Plymouth Prowler, Crossfire etc, so I reckon it's got a chance of making it into production

I Still say it won't go into production. Auto supercar anyone? The styling has much to straight lines, looks unfinished to me.

I'll believe it when it goes into production and i see an official roadtest

As said, it ISN'T auto, you can see the paddle shifters behind the wheel on the interior shots.
