how quick are the honda s2000s

had a dabble the other day with one. he lead round a roundabout and up the slip road but as soon as i got on the dc put my foot down and left him quite easily got to 120 mph and pulled in as my turning was coming, what is the sort of power of these things mines at 260bhp roughly was quite suprised i left him like that as we were both moving from about 30-40 mph

240 hp. 2 litre. Naturally Aspirated. Incredibly well designed engine and the best gearchange I've ever felt.

O-60 is about 5.7 seconds, with a red-line of 9000 and very little torque. It is a strange beast to drive. To get some real acceleration, you have to be in a low gear high rev range (6500+), maybe you caught him out there. Makes a terrific noise with an HKS exhaust. It is also not very forgiving, with a tendancy to break away sharply at the limit. Need quick reflexes indeed!
