Seat Leon Cupra question
#1
Hi
Does the Seat Leon Cupra have an LSD as standard? A friend has a 6 speed box from one to put in his mark 2 golf along with hopefully a TT engine and I was wondering if they had an LSD? I would have thought so with that power but does anyone know?
Thanks
Paul

He's right, the Polo GTi, which I used to have until the other week had one too. Utterly and totally useless...... Quaile do a internals upgrade for the VAG 6 speed that come with a ATB diff. Cost, 6 grand.... ouch...

Interesting....
The box he has just bought is supposed to be a Cupra R one.
What are the differences in ratios?
Is there any way externally (ie part number) to tell if it is what he was told it is?
Thanks
Paul

Cupra r /tt Engine/gearbox has equal length drive shafts which helps put the power down and and according sme guys that have swaped s3 engines in if you keep the same ecu the traction control system is almost as good as the racelogic set up...

I've just ordered an LSD from a company called Peloquin in the states - working out about £300 cheaper than the equavalent Quaife becuase of the exchange rate at the moment - anybody thinking of upgrading should look at the exchange rate 1.74 cool!

Hi,
Could someone tell me how a LSD could work with an ESP (or any electronic diff lock)?
I mean as soon as one wheel start to turn faster than the other one, the electronic will act on the brakes or engine. Do you think that the electronic would react quicker than any mechanical differential?
Therefore are this 2 systems compatible?
Thanks for you feedback!
