Thumbs up

The Honest John column in the Telegraph has a question from a reader who drives a Miller supercharged Xedos 9 ... anyone know anything about these?

They're a 2.3 V6 with supercharger. Apparently they leave the inlet valve open on the compression stroke so you're compressing against the pressure in the supercharger, then the valve closes, fuel injected and the spark fired. They make about 210bhp IIRC.

Cheers Notorious -- seems like it's an "efficiency" thing (like the Volvo light-pressure turbo motors) rather than a "wa-hey!" thing then ....
