MX5 rear brakes - Problem!

Fitted new cables, calipers and now after holiday putting pads in, problem is I cant wind the piston back enough to go over new pads, wound back as much as poss but piston isnt flush against caliper, asked place i bought but not much apart from they should wind back!

Any ideas?

They may have to screw in to the caliper rather than just slide in like front calipers do. Friend had this on his ITR once, something to do with the handbrake I believe.
