Ford Mondeo 1.8 turbo deisel mpg...?
#1
I have my own business and 2 years ago I made the mistake by purchasing a 1.8 td. The problem I have is that it has a crap mpg, roughly I'm getting 33 mpg. I've phoned Ford dealership and in the book they say it should be 36 mpg. That is crap, and if I'd known that then I wouldn't of bought it. Also the performance is crap with a full load or without.
Peugeots 406 hdi's are about 40+ with no problems, how can I get that out of my sh!tty Mondeo...?
Regards
Kev

every mondeo diesel ive seen is the same its a ford thing
you could get the fueling altered if it is rich or crank the boost up on that tiny turbo if you can find it
you can get not bad power out of them without much difference to economy at least you would feel better!
