As per title, car wanted for DIY/Home tuning project. A nice simple engine would be beneficial. Car has to at least start and be drivable!

A guys gotta start somewhere!

Yep.

1987 Nissan sunny 1.3Lx, 78K miles. In full working order, 6months tax, 6months MOT, 5 speed gearbox, sunroof, radio/cassette

Only thing stopping it passing it's next MOT (AFIAK) is a cracked front headlamp. Engine is good, revs nicely, v.good emmisions. Gearbox whines quite a bit, LH outer CV joint knocks and clutch release bearing makes a little noise too. Bodily sound, no structural corrosion. Good brakes, new pads 12months ago, new rear exhaust 9 months ago. Handles well too

Located in the midlands

6 months tax must be worth a few quid at least.
