Sad to see a nice car damaged Ferrari 575

A busy Black Country road was closed for almost an hour after a more than £100,000 Ferrari was involved in a four-car smash.
One woman was taken to hospital suffering from cuts and bruises following the incident at the junction of Piddock Road and High Street in Smethwick.
None of the other drivers, who were all male, were injured.
Police blocked off the road after the collision involving the Italian sports car, a Ford Mondeo, Fiesta and Escort estate at about 12.15pm, yesterday.
Traffic, including buses, had to be re-routed around the crash scene while police accident investigators studied the site and the wrecked vehicles were removed.
Pc Andy Ravenscroft, of Langley traffic unit, said: "The circumstances leading up to it have got to be investigated.
"We have to ask why something like this can happen on a straight road."
Pc Leigh Ellitts, also of Langley traffic unit, added: "The road conditions were fine. This is the best surface we can get really."
Dozens of people gathered to see the mangled high-powered sports car, believed to be a Ferrari 575 V12, towed away.
James Mowforth, boss of Evans Halshaw Ferrari in Birmingham, said the cars range in price from £109,000 to £175,000.
He added: "There are quite a few Ferraris in the West Midlands area. We sell a lot of cars in that area.
"We sell a lot of cars across the country but we sell about 15 to 20 Ferraris in the West Midlands alone."
Surrey-based Ferrari UK, the main body repair centre for the luxury sports cars, declined to comment on the cost of the damage to the car involved in yesterday's collision.
Police are now appealing for witnesses. Anyone with any information can contact the police Langley traffic unit on 0845 113 5000.

That seems to be really negative towards the fizzer driver, you get the impression the author thinks he's already guilty even thought that clearly hasn't been decided yet!

If there is an accident the press will frequently report the driver of A BMW, Porsche or premium brand car but they rarely name the car if it is a mainstream model.
