Honda NSX

5.3 I believe. But unlike a Scoob they top out at over 170. 0-100 is 12 and a bit I think.
You can also get a supercharger conversion for them, that takes them up to about 400bhp. Have to import the kit from the US though

I'm going to start catching the train to work when I move in with the missus, so I can finally ditch the diesel
Been thinking of all sorts of cars to replace it, and when I saw a mint silver NSX cruise past today it got me thinking. Anyone on here got one?

Getaway in Stockholm 3 features an NSX doing some mental stuff through the streets of Stockholm - could be useful viewing for "research" purposes!

Don't own one, driven a few, and they are fabulous IMHO.
The "audio" is simply sublime (and those were all bog std), and the performance is, well, just plain amazing when you think how easy they are to drive around when not on song. I think it may have the best shift ever, IMHO.
A bit scary to maintain if something goes wrong, but my mate has one, and in 5 years NOTHING has gone wrong with it (although he doesn't drive it hard enough ).
If MR (ie non-awd), 2 seats, and a modest boot worked for me, I think I'd be after one meself

hi, running a 93 nsx, auto tho.
extremely friendly daily car, just like any other honda. easy to drive and good mpg.
boot it and it goes, not as erractic as turbo'ed cars but the vtec is a screamer, feels like a race car.
handling is superb.
nothing much i can add, just one of the best values so-called 'supercars' out there.

Much much better than most other super cars. Maybe the finest carI have ever been in. YOU MUST GET A GOOD COLOUR.
Audio is mega money to replace to make a full check. Speakers are almostimpossible to get.

I loved the NSX, When Honda decided to do a "Supercar" They got a 308,Lotus,911 and a couple of other to used as bench marks. They were frighten that they could not match the best from Euro-land......than they test drove them!
They must have fell about at just how **** poor the competision was! In no time they built the car we all now Know as the NSX.
The real great news is this. Honda are working on a new one, probley not called NSX, but for Boxster Money. Honda where too greedy last time, with a youger more "Go get it" MD here in Blightly we are more likely to see it at Boxster Money rather than 911 cash.
Duel power motor, light weight, Super fast Paddle shift it should give anything up to 40 MPG and 0-100 in 10 secs. It also be 100 % useable and 100% reliable! And have no nasty habbits!
Look for news next year...........we hope!

I have always liked the idea of the NSX, but it looks so dated to me that I never had the ***** to go out and buy one. I have heard so many good things about them.
However, I have seen (in various mags) 0-60 times on auto cars over 7 seconds...that can't be right...thats no super car.
Is it only the manual car that has decent 0-60 time?

re Getaway in Stockholm 3 - I'm sure that POS film was well dubbed, biggest load of twaddle Ive seen in ages, 1 & 2 were passable but this one is somewhat faked IMO

0-60 in 7 seconds is nippy but it is hardly super car acceleration!
Modern hot hatch's could give you a scare(0-60) if you drive an auto NSX...that is kak, when they cost 911 money when new.
What is the 0-60 time for a manual car?
