Not sure how many of you use the GTR forum also but its qwith great sadness that i have to report that the 1015bhp skyline that you were talking about for this weekend has had to pull out!!!
Details are obviously on the GTR forum so i wont bore you with what went wrong.
Thats two of the GTR big fish, sick and unable to attend. Soem i suppose will be pleased to hear this but i`m sure all enthusiasts going this weekend will be sickened by the news as it would have been fantastic to watch this car perform.

Gutting. What do you reckon will be the best of the big boys. I'm thinking it'll be between Norris Designs or Martin Hadland's Cossie. But then again I don't know what others monsters are going. What Scoobs are competing?

 

Martin isn't running! As far as I am aware there are very few big bhp/big torque Cossies running but a lot of 400bhp cossies.

Not sure if Redkop's other half is running with a 520bhp + nitrous RS500 but there will be a 430bhp Sapphire with nitrous and a 500+bhp RS500 with nitrous, possibly an old RS500 touring car (a bloody museum peice really).

P.S I am not 100% sure all this is correct but i know Martin isn't entering as his car has not got a gearbox in it. He will be spectating though.

 

i can vouch for at least 4 of the sklines that are near a thousand horse anyway, been in two of em, and trust me over the 1/4 and top speed they wont get touched.
went to elvington a few week back running in the 1/4 and flyer. between my runs was watching the handling course, and andy f in the 450 horse scooby is awesome. the big horsepower guys wont perform round that course cause there off boost to much.
defending champ "Rocket Ronnie " should be good with his new sequential box.
pity martin hadlands not goin, cause that escorts one real piece of kit, the evo of si norris is also awesome, and i've heard thers also another evo of similar spec.

simon norris just finished fitting the engine in yesterday i hope he will be their and the best of luck to him and everyone and keith cowie with his very fast r32 will be their too and watch this space and martins car is real fast too

The car ate a gearbox moses....I dunno what you heard, but thats all that happened which was to be expected......the box was an R+D 6 speed dog box rated to about 350bhp!
