Saab 900/ older Merc SLK or even older SL!!
I'm 6ft5, used to borrow my mate old 900. Stacks of room.
Best of luck,
Ed
Edited to say, I've just noticed the roadster bit, so the above don't count I suppose

My mate has a Saab 93 convertible, he's 6' 3" and fits comfortably. It's a lovely car, really nice inside, but I've driven it a few times and the handling is sh1te. Great if your after a luxorious cruiser though.
BTW he tried BMW's Audi's etc and it was the only one he was hap[py with room-wise.

Good amount of room in the S2K, but I've heard of 6ft 5+ guys complaining about being within an inch or two of the roof, plus knee/dash problems. There are mods to lower the seat etc., but it's a pain I believe.
Plus, at 6ft 6, I think your nut is going to be sticking out above the rollbars!

Hi,
I'm 6'5' myself and I have to stand up for TVRs - I have hired a Griff and a Chimeara on separate weekends away and have found them very comfy with loads of legroom. The Chimp was better then the Griff because it had had the floor lowered (after bird sat in it!!) and so had a bit more head room.
The only problem is getting out of the buggers though, especially if the kerb is a bit high.

A 6'3" friend of mine had had a Z3 for 4 years and it's fine for up to a couple of hours - after that he gets a bit uncomfortable, but it can't be that bad.

ok- i've decided its got to be between the Z3, SLK, S2000, MR2. All pretty quick, all jap or german so wont break.
my only concerns are the MR2...to girly, merc and bmw.....to disliked by joe public (dont want litter lobed in as i drive by!)
which may leave the HONDA!

Boxster's seat movement is restricted by the engine bulkhead, think it would be too small.
Saab sounds good and are starting to be quite cheap, the high output high pressure turbos are pretty quick.
An E36 BMW M3 cab might be in the price range, (great engine), quite a bit of seat movement seats also adjust for hieght and tip forward and back, but if you are stuck you can always stick in an aftermarket seat.

There is a seat lowering kit for the Boxster that supposedly drops the seat by 2". Might be worth investigating...
Also avoid the 'Sports Seats' if you are broad accross the shoulders. The sports seats are not buckets but simply the regular seats with some upholstered shoulder 'wings'. They look great but for me they don't offer as much support as my MY00's seats did and I feel like they are pushing me upright a little.
