Some of the modifications it has had while its been apart
rear disc conversion and the wheels it will be sat on....drums =
AP's for the front
315mm rotors and bells
Brakes fitted to the front
Its also got polly bushes and Koni's as well as other things....
Next time i will buy something mint to modify . Must admit it has been an experience and quite a bit of fun.

A few items...i plan on using it on the track occasionally.....its a 3rd car so its not needed for anything else
'H' section steel rods
Forged pistons
Lower compression ratio
Ported head
Large intercooler
Large turbo
A few other mods as well
Plus a strong gearbox....probably Quaife straight cuts with a Trans X plated diff

My first experience of a proper Turbo car was my mates 1985 RS Turbo. Excellent car. The competition at the time was 16v Astras!

Cheers for the comments .....the old ones rust like **** but not as bad as the slightly newer ones (D and E reg!!).
I have Waxoyled it to death in the sills and the chassis legs and it will have more when it is ready for the road

No!! Body work is not my forte` unfortunately so i paid for the body to be restored by a friend of mine and the bits i can do (mechanical and electrical) i did myself.
I did buy all the tools needed to do the bodywork (which are now sitting dormant) so if i do get another project i have all the facilities.
