I noticed when walking back from town that strands of what I could best describe as thick hair were trailing out of my lodger's ford fiesta. There seems to be too much of it to have been stuffed up there by someone.

I thought it might be the lagging from inside the exhaust but I dunno.

Any Ideas as to what it could be?
