Question

Got a mate with a standard S14a 200SX (X-reg Y2000 model). Wants to keep up with my MY99PPP Scooby. Any suggestions for under a grand? Don't laugh, he's well happy with his mota, but he wants to make it sound and go just a little bit quicker!!!!

Cheers

If he fits a cone filter, then it will perform better with some form of heat shield.I understand the standard intercoolers are weak on these(plastic endcaps),he might get a second hand uprated one(not a front mount for under a grand though)along with a decent exhaust and either a new actuator that holds more boost or a bleed valve/dawes.

Mods I've done, full stainless turbo back TT (both cats removed)
Cone filter, dawes race spec set to 15 psi

Will give about 270 bhp but more importantly over 200 bhp at the wheels, which very few scoobs have.
