Default Heated seats

Got my A6 allroad and it's a lovely car, question is though how hot should the heated seats be getting?

I put it on top and it's luke warm .. I don't want to go crying back to the dealer if I'm just expecting and it's a feature not a fault?

My Insignia was much hotter, feels great on the back after a long drive or **** day at work.

How new is the A6 ?
my previous model S3 had heated seated that would get really hot and stay hot, my current model S3 (out of the factory) had heated seats that only seemed to get warm but not hot.
Quick revision of the temps and time it holds each level (ie drop from level 3 to level 2) via Vag Com and its back to hot seats that I like.

My 9-5 Aero seats get nice and hot. My Astra VXR that I used to have got really hot .

I think that if they're getting just "luke warm" then there's an issue somewhere.

No I disagree - hence the question how old is the A6,
The newer cars seem to have a lot lower "hot" setting than previous. And will only stay at full power / full heat setting before automatically dropping down to a lower level for a much shorter period.

I found them for my S3 via google, Look on the Audi forums - there are lots of them

Look for Vag com mods or codes or vcds, You will probaby find a few other things to try if have a vag com cable a well. Mostly things dont need but can look good.

The actual temp change bit I think I got from a german site but I need access to my home pc to find the link

I tend to use the air conditioning more than heated seats this weather.

Mine do get too hot to be comfortable on full however.

I like heated seats, but wish you could choose just to have the back bit on, not the whole seat.
